Ryan is a convention organizer based out of Central Canada. He started organizing conventions beginning in 2015 with Impossible Realities, and has been Game Mastering in-person and online gaming events since 2008. Even though starting in fantasy games, the eventual day came along where Cthulhu was encountered...and that was it. Nowadays, he has delved into the world of KULT: Divinity Lost, other such horror systems, and the Illusion Horror & Con. Gaming Style
The Beginning! My gaming style is more of a laid back approach. I like to present the environment of what is going on, but let the players take the reign and run with the situation. If it slows down, well I interact with players character backgrounds and or ask in-game questions and try to get them on an arc to keep the story on task and fun! And STOP! Do not worry if the above sounds serious, I LOVE introducing NEW PLAYERS to TTRPG's and players to NEW GAMES that look interesting to them. I am very newbie friendly and can take the time, ANYTIME, to slow down and discuss any questions you have! More Style Now... My main goto is Theater of The Mind, augmented with visuals. I like Roleplay and story based TTRPG's. Combat is OK and I do not mind it, but I like to use fast rules and hardly rely on grid based maps if it ever comes up. Just lets keep the story going :D Really!? One Last Sentence or Two... My end goal is to just have a fun time with everyone at the virtual table! I look forward to meeting with and gaming with FUTURE you(s)!
Game experience
I have been involved with RPGs for close to 20 years now. Started in D&D 5ed, but then migrated to the horror genre. This is where most of my GM experience is today and I love telling stories with people at a table.
