About this game

--Roleplay, Combat, and Puzzle content will be catered to player interest!-- Unearth the secrets of The Zourlands! Explore a vast uncharted wilderness in a classic hexcrawl through this original setting full of opportunities for exploration, danger, and legendary loot! The setting is completely original and filled from Hex 0,0 all the way to Hex 49,49 (1,600 hexes!) all with explorable content waiting for a band of players to dive in! Multiple tables of The Zourlands will run from Sunday through Thursday. The events of each table will have ramifications that affect the entire setting for all future tables. Fail to stop that villain from putting a massive crater where a city used to be? That change is permanent, and affects every group! This game will also integrate a play-by-post game. If life gets in the way and you can't make it to a regular session for a few weeks, I have a Discord forum setup where your character can still engage with the world through the casual pacing offered by play-by-post! (This part is completely optional if PBP isn't your thing!) This will be a true sandbox, making use of Tales of the Valiant (5e enhanced rules by Kobold Press) as the foundation for our game. We'll also be using the Adventurer, Conqueror, King System (ACKS) for defining rules on building permanent keeps and strongholds as Tales of the Valiant doesn't yet have a Game Master's Guide to cover mechanics like this. Other resources we'll be using include an Exhaustion Rework, Follower Advancement, and epic loot from The Griffon's Saddlebag! If you've ever wanted to play a game with an Old School feel, but familiar mechanics, this will be the campaign for you! --Sessions will try to run for around 3 hours. There will be a break at 8:30 - 9:00 of 15-20 minutes. Tables will only run with 2 or more paying players. Cancellations happen two days in advance.--
